The Model 931 is a rugged, single-component photometric gas analyzer housed in an explosion-proof package designed for a variety of gas monitoring and process control applications.

The need for the measurement of low level H2S in sales gas is important both for corrosion control and personal safety. Reducing the level excessively to provide safety margin drastically increases the operating costs of removal and recovery operation whereas high levels of H2S will result in costly plant shutdowns.

Substantial energy savings can be achieved in amine regeneration by controlling amine recirculation to ensure optimum H2S loading. Continuous measurement of the H2S in rich amine permits feedback control to the circulator thus ensuring optimum absorber efficiency.

The 881-NSL is equipped with anti-clogging blowback features. Any out-of-range condition automatically initiates air blowback to clear the sample system. The Model 930 is a multicomponent analyzer that is configured for simultaneous measurement of both H2S and SO2. Sulfur vapor concentrations in the sample can also be monitored.
